Job Description:
We’re looking for an energetic and talented engineer to join our growing team. This is a new position and we’re looking for someone with a passion for providing design, specification, and technical support to our customers. Responsibilities:
•Provide design, specification, and technical support
•Interact directly with customers to understand and troubleshoot situations in the field
•Learn and maintain expert level knowledge of i2Systems products and applications
•Respond to functional and technical requirements of new projects and requests for proposals
•Perform technical and product training for sales and customer service teams
•Provide feedback to design engineering for product improvements and new ideas discovered from customer and field interaction
•Travel to project sites to perform start-up and / or technical support and training
•Maintain accurate records of projects, contacts, and correspondence in company database
Requirements:
•BS in a related Engineering and/or Science discipline. Experience in the lighting manufacturing field a plus.
•Solidworks, 3D Cad talent required.
•Experience using AGI or Photopia is helpful
•Familiarity with lighting controls a plus
•Good understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts and drawings
•Familiarity with construction project management and ability to read architectural drawings a plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Available for travel up to 20%
