Robert Wax, Penn Lighting, R.I.P.

Robert Alan Wax, 66, of North Wales, PA, passed away on Dec. 6, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his caring and beloved wife Christine (nee Grantano); children Adam Wayne (Kirsten) Carangi, Nelson Robert (Terri), Tyler Edward (Alisha), & Kaela Christine; mother Phyllis (nee Engle); and siblings Philip and Jeanne (Bernard). Much loved grandfather to Aries, River, Robert, Allie, & Emmett. Preceded in death by his father, Nelson (1999) and his son, Casey Adam (1996). 

Robert grew up in Chester County and had a great love of horses. He graduated from La Salle University, ran the Northeast Health Spa (where he met Christine) and was most recently a Principal at Penn Lighting in Philadelphia. Throughout his lifetime, Robert loved golfing, playing music (guitar and banjo), sports (especially the Philadelphia Eagles), family vacations in Avalon, NJ, and above all else, spending time with his family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Monday, December 12th, 2016. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., and the service at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Messiah located at 1001 Dekalb Pike, Lower Gwynedd Township, PA 19002. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, which aided Robert’s fight for 16 years.
