As EdisonReport reported earlier, Radulescu LLP will bring back its popular LED industry meeting on Patent Issues Facing the Lighting Industry this year in Philadelphia. The session will start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9th. The first four months of 2017 have seen over 15 new LED patent infringement cases asserting over 30 different patents directed to LED illumination technology. Three of the plaintiffs were responsible for approximately two thirds of these suits. The meeting will discuss the landscape and recent trends in patent litigation, as well as which patent holders in the lighting industry are beginning or continuing litigation and licensing programs.
Space is extremely limited and attendance requires confirmation. The presentation will start at 8:30 am and run approximately 1 hour, followed by break-our sessions as needed at Maggiano’s on Filbert Street, across from the Philadelphia Convention Center.
