Charles Selander joins Empire Lighting, heading the New York office. Edison Report has learned that Charles Selander is joining Empire Lighting, a division of Thea Enterprises. Mr. Selander will be managing Empire’s New York office, with a principal focus on emerging lighting and controls technologies. Empire Lighting represents many premier lighting and controls manufacturers, with sales offices in Manhattan and Clifton, NJ, and a sales force that covers the New York metropolitan area, including Northern New Jersey, Westchester, Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City. Mr. Selander was most recently Global Director of Specification Sales at Soraa, was previously with tunable LED manufacturer Lumenetix, and prior to that was at Acuity Brands Lighting in a wide variety of roles. He is deeply involved with the IALD, as well as the IES and DLF.
