Lambent Holdings, a portfolio company of Stone Arch Capital, a Minneapolis-based private equity firm, has acquired VLT, also known as Visual Lighting Technologies, a leading and well-known manufacturer of lighting products including linear LED, driver panels, specialty display, outdoor and fiber optic lighting.
Founded in 2000 by Dan Haydt, VLT joins two other notable California-based brands that make up the Lambent portfolio, Delray Lighting and LF Illumination.
Lambent and Delray CEO David Komonosky commented: “We are thrilled to add VLT to our Lambent portfolio as we believe we are at a critical inflection point of new growth opportunities as all construction market segments recover and expand in our post-pandemic reality.
