Project Manager — SDA Lighting & Controls

SDA Lighting and Controls is one of the largest independent lighting fixture and controls manufacturer’s representatives in the nation.

We are currently expanding our team and are in search of a Project Manager to handle the coordination and completion of projects.  Our new project manager would be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all project requirements and deadlines are achieved.  Strong computer skills, solid writing ability along with courteous and competent verbal communication skills is a must. We are in search of talented, enthusiastic individuals to add to our team.

Job Description:

  • Organize and plan project schedules
  • Coordinate directly with suppliers to expedite product delivery and clarify bill of materials
  • Communication with customers directly to assist them through the expediting process
  • Ability to work in team environment while building strong working relationships with inside/outside sales teams and customer base

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on business, engineering or technology preferred. Equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training may also qualify.
  • Candidate must have excellent customer service and effective phone/communication skills
  • Strong math and computer abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure, time sensitive environment
