IESNYC ‘Delivers’ a Great Gala

Last night, the IESNYC put on a first class gala.  Your humble editor estimates 800 to 900 people, and it was the most fun party I have been to in years! Really! Clara Powell and Adrienne Shulman did a tremendous job as co-chairs of the event.  Megan Carrol, IESNYC president, gave a good speech.  Early on, they did pause to recognize recently deceased members:  Shelly Bellovin, Kyle Chepulis, James Kaloudis, Lana Lenar and Dave Lissak.

The event was long sold out, and the beachy-Hawaiian theme was well received, but we still saw several ties in the audience.  Old habits die hard.

Recently retired Peter Jacobson received a Golden Achievement Award, as did Brad Telias and Brett Anderson.  Shaun Fillion received the IES Section Meritorious Service Award.
