Position Overview

ETi Solid State Lighting is a leading lighting supplier in the North American Retail, C&I and National Account channels.  We are focused on creating and delivering quality-driven lighting solutions for C&I and retail markets.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a qualified individual to serve as a Product Manager for our Multifamily and Residential Lighting Portfolio.  This person will lead development and commercialization efforts across both retail and C&I channels to grow our competitive line and ensure new product innovation and synergy between the sales channels. 

The Product Manager will report to the Vice President of Product Development and will serve as an integral part of ETi SSL’s product development team.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for complete lifecycle management of ETi branded residential and multifamily products.
  • Translate market trends and strategic insights into long term product planning, to support business plans in terms of growth and profitability.
  • Participate and lead Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP) events to generate and drive one-to-three-year product roadmaps.
  • Responsible for financials, business case, product lifecycle management and overall portfolio administration.
  • Lead cross-function teams in a matrix environment. Agility to work in an intercontinental environment, and able to drive best outcome from the team.
  • Accountable for establishing product delivery schedules in coordination with sales, marketing, development, and operations to successfully release new products on time and within budget.
  • Lead product VOC with key stakeholders to assist in identifying new product offering opportunities and working with internal product development resources to determine feasibility and options.
  • Work closely with sales team to develop distribution channels and attend customer internal sales meetings.
  • Participate in Product Line Reviews (PLRs) for retail channel to drive NPD efforts and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide technical guidance for proper sales enablement functions, assist with packaging design, and proofreading technical content for all customer-facing print and digital marketing collateral.
  • Creating selling tools, defining product features and benefits, differentiators, how to counter objections, applications of use, etc., to support the sales team and manufacturing reps in the field.

Skills and Experience

This position is ideal for an individual who has experience in the lighting industry! A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. The Product Manager role is a great fit for one who works well with a team and has the determination and drives to learn!   • A strong understanding of the lighting industry and lighting products is REQUIRED with at least 3-5 years of experience in a product management role
