During a recent trip to Atlanta, your humble editor had the opportunity to chat with Dan Darby, Show Director for LightFair. Our discussion centered on Legrand’s recent decision to participate in the event, and the new experiential features that would be on display. Additionally, we talked about the extensive educational offerings, which have almost tripled compared to previous years. One particularly exciting feature is the immersive experience, where LightFair has collaborated with seven lighting designers and seven manufacturers to develop installations focused on the circular economy, as part of a design competition. During the event, Craig Bernecker will lead a live study on LC.
LightFair is the presenting sponsor of NYCxDesign which brought 200,000 people to NYC last year. In addition, LightFair will be co-located Intenational Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF). This co-location is an excellent opportunity to talk to someone other than ourselves!
