ST. PAUL, MN, March 13, 2024 – MetroSpec Technology, the leading American manufacturer of custom LED light sources, will be featuring Nichia’s new chip-scale LED at LEDucation, the 19th and 20th of March. This newly launched LED achieves a horizontal, ultra-wide ‘batwing’ light distribution that creates a soft, low-glare light with even distribution. There is no need for special, thicker lenses, thereby enabling thinner and lighter fixtures. Particularly with shallow drums, curves, cylinders and globes, lighting evenly can be a challenge, especially when the lens is very close to the LED light source.
