ATLANTA – April 22, 2024 – In celebration of Earth Day, Atrius, part of Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI), today announced it has won two awards from leading sustainability media companies Environment + Energy (E+E) Leader and ESG Investing for the second consecutive year. Its carbon accounting and ESG reporting software, Atrius Sustainability, was recognized by both programs as one of the best solutions available today thanks to the brand’s commitment to ongoing innovation and market responsiveness. Demonstrations of this include the release of its free, entry-level version of the platform, Atrius Sustainability Starter; its ability to provide third-party assurance of carbon emissions data to both Starter and Enterprise customers; and its data-agnostic architecture which allows users to precisely tailor the application to suit their individual needs.
E+E Leader included Atrius Sustainability as one of its Top Products of 2024 in the Software and Cloud category. Judges commended the platform for its ease of use in tracking and reporting scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions data across organizations’ building portfolios. E+E Leader also hailed Atrius Sustainability Starter as a market leader and praised it for being the first product of its kind to provide fully assured carbon accounting capabilities to small and medium businesses (SMBs) at no cost. ESG Investing additionally named Atrius Sustainability as this year’s runner-up and finalist in the Best Specialist ESG Data Provider and Best ESG & Climate Reporting Platform categories, respectively.
