Schaumberg, Ill., September 4, 2024: Schréder, a global leader in smart outdoor lighting solutions, is excited to announce the appointment of Jeff Ross as the Business Segment Manager for Connected Lighting in North America. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in sales, marketing and product management, Jeff brings a wealth of experience in driving growth and innovation in the connected lighting and smart cities sectors.
In his new role, Jeff will spearhead Schréder’s connected lighting initiative across North America, focusing on further developing and executing the company’s growth strategy in this dynamic market. He will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, fostering key relationships with cities, municipalities, and Departments of Transportation (DOTs), and expanding Schréder’s capabilities beyond lighting to support smart city initiatives.
Prior to joining Schréder, Jeff served as Vice President of Business Development for Smart Cities & Utilities at TerraGo Technologies, where he drove significant revenue growth and expanded the company’s presence in the global smart streelighting market. His extensive experience also includes leadership roles at Itron, Inc., where he launched a global channel program that generated substantial revenue and expanded the company’s smart cities reach into new markets.
