We are searching for a PROJECT MANAGER to join our Sales Team. The position is located in Buffalo, NY, or NY, NY.
The primary role for this position is to serve as a single point of contact for all technical issues, correspondence and sales-related matters for your Sales Team Member. he successful candidate will work closely with Customers, Design Engineering, Quality, Production/Material Control, Manufacturing Supervisors and the Sales Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Internal & External
- Develop professional relationships with Litelab personnel, independent rep firms and Litelab customers.
- Service clients by preparing quotes, organizing files, communicating with clients, and helping to solve client design issues.
- Work closely with the customer, engineering and factory to manage expectations and coordinate labor to meet client needs.
- Help order entry by defining product/project requirements that will be distributed to other Litelab departments.
- Communicate internally and externally any changes to an order.
- Specifiers/Lighting Designers/Architects/Client Reps
- Know the firm and understand the principals and who you will work with directly.
- Ensure client understands how to utilize our product and what the product does so you can customize to customer needs.
- Distributors/Independent Reps and Sales Rep
- Understand channels and how the products get distributed and go to market
- Ensure you have all the correct information at the time of the Request for Quote {RFQ}.
Project Management:
- Learn Corporate PM System {Made to Manage and Odoo} while understanding technical product knowledge, the data entry and filing process.
- Utilize technology including excel and project management skills to ensure a smooth and organized process.
- Responsible for entering orders into Made to Manage and Odoo systems once information is received from clients.
- Manage progress of an order prior and after the shipment to ensure a successful project.
- Interface internally with various departments to ensure order accuracy and on time delivery.
- Data Integrity
- Is the sales order document accurate?
- Do we have all the documentation we need for engineering and/or other departments within Litelab?
- Communication with the job site.
- If there are changes to the sales order, make sure the information is correct.
- Data Integrity
- Attending project meetings, creating the agenda and be sure the correct parties are at the meeting.
- Once the project is delivered on-site, facilitate any conversations with the General Contractor and user/client about any challenges or questions about how to install the product.
Education: 4-year degree or combination of education and experience in PM Role. Experience in the electrical or construction industry is helpful. Minimum 5 years of high-end project management experience and Certificate in Project Management preferred.

- Proficient with MS Office products
- Good working knowledge of CAD and Solid Works is helpful
