Jim Williams Expands his agency to include Ohio and Kentucky with Cooper Lighting Solutions.
Cooper Lighting Solutions has ended its partnerships with three representatives: Spectrum Lighting, K2SA, and Engineered Lighting Sales. This decision impacts key markets across Ohio and Kentucky, where these companies have represented Cooper for years. JAW Lighting will replace the three agencies.
Spectrum Lighting – Serving Central Ohio
Spectrum Lighting, based in Columbus, Ohio, has been a prominent player in the Central Ohio market. Led by President Rick Vollhardt, the company lists 15 employees on its website.
K2SA – Cincinnati Representative
K2SA, headquartered in Cincinnati, has also had its relationship with Cooper Lighting terminated. The firm, led by Principal Rick Krueger, currently employs eight people and serves the Cincinnati market.
Engineered Lighting Sales (ELS) – Kentucky Coverage
Based in Louisville, with an additional office in Hopkinsville, Engineered Lighting Sales (ELS) covers both Eastern and Western Kentucky for Cooper Lighting. Led by President Ernest C. Cruse II, ELS employs 14 staff members.
The termination is effective at the end of November for all three companies as JAW’s start date will be 1 DEC.
Tennessee Lighting Sales and Recent Changes
This announcement follows Cooper’s decision last month to part ways with Tennessee Lighting Sales. Jim Williams’ JAW Lighting has been appointed to lead Cooper’s efforts in Nashville and Eastern Tennessee. Last month, your humble editor interviewed Jim, and you can watch that interview here. Several Tennessee Lighting Sales team members will join JAW Lighting. One employee believes that Tennessee Lighting Sales will close by early 2024.
