Position: Director of Sales

Position Reports to CEO 

Job Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $150,000 – $165,000 Annually  

The Director of Sales will lead grow sales with existing customers as well as develop new business throughout the North American territory. This position will manage and motivate Regional Sales Managers and contracted sales representative agencies to grow PureEdge sales. Outstanding analytical skills are required to identify new markets and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Increase sales and maintain profitability.
  • Manage Regional Sales Managers and key existing accounts.
  • Manage Inside sales and quotation team.
  • Ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of quotes.
  • Development of Showroom programs nationally.
  • Oversee travel expenses of all regional sales managers.
  • Collaborate with other departments as related to customers and sales.
  • Provide weekly reports about outcomes from sales visits for the entire regional sales force.
  • Work with the Vice President of Sales to develop and analyze metrics for sales pipeline tracking.
  • Participate in the development of processes for CRM systems.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of area representatives using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing and engineering departments to create effective sales tools including sample cases, and presentation materials.
  • Maintain PureEdge presence at Lightology and showrooms in all territories. Ensure showroom displays meet brand standards, support strategic product positioning efforts, and train the showroom sales force.
  • Work with the Vice President of Sales to develop a product training program including Course content, Program Structure, and Incentive Programs.
  • Participation in Trade Shows.
  • Additional duties as needed at the direction of management
  • This position will involve 50-60% of travel.
  • 25% of Inside Sales and administrative duties and approximately 75% outside sales with travel..

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years in a sales management role
  • Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects-prioritization and strategic planning
  • Experience managing small-medium size teams and driving successful results
  • Experience managing sales processes within Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in, internet navigation, e-mail, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, in business management or related preferred.
