Regional Sales Manager with LEDiL Optics

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the Eastern USA to help customers with their optical needs.

As part of the US-based team, you will impact our customers’ success by proactively helping them identify the best optics for their luminaires and other products in the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. The Regional Sales Manager works from a home office and travels to customer locations within the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue for standard and custom products in the assigned sales territory.
  • Identify and capture major project opportunities for LED optics at Lighting manufacturers through solution selling.
  • Manage the distributor sales team within the assigned territory to maximize project pipeline through joint sales calls and providing training on LEDiL products.
  • Proactively engage with OEMs through onsite and virtual visits.
  • Foster great communication with customers and the LEDiL team to provide for the best possible service.
  • We expect you to be a team player who finds success in helping customers and LEDiL succeed together.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably a degree in business administration or engineering/technology or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 or more years’ experience in sales or in customer-facing technical support; preferably in the lighting components industry.
  • Experience working directly with OEMs and distribution partners.
  • Strong communications skills to all levels within the customer’s organization.
  • Live within the Eastern US, preferably in Northeast area.
  • Able to travel to customer locations 25-50 % of the time with some overnight travel to customer locations.
  • Strong computer skills including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
