“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my father, John Daly, Sr. John spent over 40 years in the only industry he knew, lighting. The majority of those years were with Advance Transformer in Chicago. His passion for the industry and for the people in it, are the reasons I have also been in the lighting industry myself for 29 years and my brother in law for 30 years. A few years ago, I accepted the award from Randy Reid, on my father’s behalf, as a recipient of the EdisonReport’s Lifetime Achievement award. My dad was very honored to have been recognized by the industry that meant so much to him.”
