Updated 12 AUG 2024: This morning we learned that last week at least one potential investor/buyer visited Saylite.
Based on Linked In, We are not sure who is the CEO of Saylite
On 1 August, EdisonReport published an article detailing troubles at Saylite. In that piece, we referenced a video on the Saylite website featuring CEO John Sayah. We noted that John Sayah had retired and that Chris Armstrong was the current CEO. However, this information may no longer be accurate.
Chris Armstrong’s LinkedIn profile lists his tenure at Saylite from August 2022 to August 2024. Normally, if he were still employed, the profile would say “August 2022 – Present.”
I called Saylite, introducing myself as the editor from EdisonReport and asked to speak with Chris Armstrong. I pointed out the change on his LinkedIn profile and inquired if he was still the CEO. After about a three-minute hold, the person returned to the phone and politely informed me that they had no comment before ending the call.
We found no mention of Chris Armstrong on the Saylite website. A quick Google search of “Chris Armstrong Saylite” shows a few LinkedIn profiles and prior EdisonReport articles, but no link to the Saylite website or his name on the first page.
If Chris is not the CEO, who is?
