The deadline for the inaugural Beacon Awards has been extended. Designers and manufacturers now have until the evening of Monday, 9 September, to submit projects and products for the Beacon Awards, presented by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY). This prestigious event honors exceptional achievements in lighting design across six categories:
– New York Project
– Commercial & Institutional
– Exteriors
– Residential
– Hospitality & Retail
– Product Design
Submissions are open, offering a unique chance for industry professionals to showcase their innovative designs.
Winners will be announced during the Beacon Awards Ceremony on:

The event proceeds will benefit DLFNY’s Lenar Lighting Empowerment Scholarship, aimed at fostering the next generation of lighting designers passionate about the power of light.
The awards will be judged by a distinguished panel, including Clodagh, Paul Gregory, Elvira Gershengon, Shaun Fillion, Barry Richards, Sara Schonour, and Atilla Uysal. Sponsors of the Beacon Awards will receive prime seating at the ceremony.
