Purpose
Since the first conference in 2022, the purpose of Lightapalooza has been to provide progressive technology integrators and design community members with intensive education, training and certification in luxury residential illumination, natural light optimization and energy control, so they have the knowledge, relationships, tools and confidence to move forward in evolving and growing their businesses by better serving clients.
2025 Overview
In the upcoming fourth year, Lightapalooza 2025, will continue to be a highly curated, education and training focused conference supported by a select group of exhibitors who are leading manufacturers of high-end residential lighting fixtures, shades, energy management systems and control solutions.

Lightapalooza Listens:
Following each of the previous three conferences Lightapalooza has invested in increasingly in-depth research to better understand what’s working, what could be better and why. From the location, hotel accommodations and food options, to course content and scheduling to minimize conflicts, Lightapalooza 2025 will reflect visitor feedback.
Education:
In 2025 Lightapalooza will again offer more hours of education, training and certification in home illumination, natural light optimization, energy management and related control solutions than anywhere else in the CI channel.
New for 2025:
The Academia Series of education sessions features esteemed university professors and researchers who will offer cutting edge insights and a scholarly perspective on lighting design. This Series is important because while it offers the opportunity to learn the science of lighting for attendees at any level of competency, there are also specific sessions targeting the most experienced integrators and practitioners of lighting design. The goal when attending Lightapalooza is for elite integrators to learn something new, from elite educators and scholars, to help elevate their most expansive projects.
Design Community Education:
Integrators are encouraged to bring their architects to Lightapalooza where they can take advantage of a range of AIA/IDCEC accredited CEU classes offered on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Specific course titles can be seen at Lightapalooza.com on the Conference Schedule. The CEU classes, taught by popular speakers, will be both enlightening and engaging.
Social, Networking, and Relationship Building Opportunities:
In 2025 Lightapalooza is providing rooms onsite and space in the schedule for the inaugural Lightapalooza Showcase Suites Open House and Cocktail Reception. From 5-7pm on Tuesday, 21 January, attendees can mix, mingle, make new connections and reinforce existing relationships while winding down after a full day of education sessions and traversing the exhibit floor. The hosting sponsors of the Showcase Suites will be announced shortly.
Lightapalooza will host a reception for the Dallas ASID chapter and ICAA (Institute of Classical Architecture and Art) on Wednesday, 22 January, in an effort to further relationships between the lighting design and broader design communities.
On Monday, 20 January, Lightapalooza will host a Welcome Reception for all attendees.
The Exhibit Floor
Attendees can experience the latest home illumination, natural light control, and modern energy control solutions on the exhibitor show floor which has expanded from last year.
Lightapalooza aims to balance the needs of its diverse and expanding attendee base while maintaining a clear focus on the event’s core purpose. This commitment is reflected in a carefully curated list of valued and respected exhibitors. While not every potential exhibitor is included, those selected represent the most fitting choice for the current stage of the conference’s growth and evolution.
