MRO Sales Manager

This role is to support the Catalog (Grainger) and lighting contractor channels by calling on customers to educate and sale lighting solutions in an effort to increase overall ABL sales. 

This position is field based and candidates should be located within the assigned territory.  This territory consists of areas within Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.  This role will be responsible for approximately $5MM in Catalog and lighting contractor sales.  

  

Key Tasks & Responsibility

  • Makes sales calls to customers that have lighting needs which will require approximately 50% travel

  • Create and analyze Return on Investment scenarios for customers.

  • Visual Layouts and design. 

  • Technical Support including product suggestion, nomenclature creation and corrections; fixture application questions; fixture option availability; sales processing assistance; definition and technical conversation concerning fixture/fixture components.

  • Provide pricing support by mediating between the quotes team and customers to insure both ABL and our customer are priced competitive and in the best possible position to write the order while meeting company & department margin goals. 

  • Post sales assistance. Problem resolution.

  • Creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations

 

Experience

–  3 to 5 years experience of Sales experience 

–  In depth knowledge of fixtures and lighting in general

–  Personality oriented towards technical aptitude, service and excellent work ethic

–  Computer skills, Visual software, Excel, and Power Point. 

–  Good presentation skills 

Educational Background  

–    Technical or Associate’s Degree – Business Management

–  Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred
