Job Description:

The OEM Sales Operations Manager position is expected to drive the growth of the OEM Division within the General Illumination organization. The position will be instrumental to ensuring the attainment of the OEM sales budget. The OEM Sales Operations Manager position will report to the channel sales operations manager but will also take direction from and work closely with the OEM Sales Managers and Innovation Managers to develop, implement and track the progress of various marketing and sales initiatives.
The Successful Candidate will:
• Manage daily sales operations for a region of the OEM Division. Collaborate with Finance, Marketing Finance, Sales Controlling and GLBS to achieve channel goals within General Illumination.
• Analyze sales activity and identify sales trends in order to capitalize on opportunities or implement corrective actions.
• Communicate and collaborate with Finance, Logistics and the business units in conjunction with or on behalf of channel management to ensure the OEM sales objectives are met.
• Coordinate and communicate frequently with the sales force, product marketing, customer service, business units, order fulfillment, quality, warranty and logistics to ensure that customer requirements are satisfied in a timely and accurate manner.
• Use MyOpps (Vendavo) pricing system extensively to manage the creation, update, and renewal of standard price quotes, promotional quotes and policy exceptions.
• Interact with select customers as needed to support the efforts of field sales representatives and regional managers.
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity that only requires management input on significantly complex and unusual items
• Work to limit A/R exposure for the OEM sales channel.
• Communicate with Sales Staff and OEM management to achieve proper pricing and margin goals.
• Review statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
• Represent the channel interests at high level internal meetings.
• Oversee organization of accounts and territories and assist with sales plan design for maximum effectiveness and profitability.
Qualifications:
Bachelors plus minimum 7 years related experience required. Incumbents may have 10-20 years related experience.
