Toronto, ON (September 2012) – Jorge Pereira VP and General Manager of Lighting Alternatives Inc., a leading full line Fluorescent and LED lighting manufacturer is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Gloster, as Regional Sales Manager for the South Eastern Region.
Richard will be based in Atlanta and responsible for managing all aspects of Lighting Alternatives’ independent agency network, while developing and maintaining relationships with major specifiers and distributors.
Richard joins Lighting Alternatives from ALP Lighting where he held the position of Product Development Manager. Prior to that, in his over 30 years in the lighting industry, Richard has held various positions of increasing responsibility with Hubbell and Cooper Lighting. “It is great to be back on the sales side working with many of my friends in the rep agencies and with Lighting Alternative / Visioneering a company with such a long history of high quality and service”, says Richard.
