Applications/Field Service Engineer
The Applications/Field Service Engineer, (AFE) will act as the product expert to the Sales department, responding to internal/external technical inquiries regarding Kenall products. The AFE will collaborate with manufacturing ensuring products are properly specified and are the most expedient options available. AFE’s have the skill to create prototypes or design modifications using software or hands on applications as necessary. AFE’s connect with customers to address their product concerns and provide cost information for quotes when needed. AFE’s possess 3+ years in similar applications engineering, field support and/or technical pre-sales role with strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and demonstrated hands on experience.
This position requires the ability to manage, prioritize and balance multiple tasks. A ME or EE degree preferred. High level of self-initiative and dependability, strong written and verbal English communications skills; with the ability to discuss and impart technical knowledge in a clear and concise manner.
