EXCLUSIVE: MUST CREDIT EDISONREPORT. EdisonReport has exclusively learned that Jiaxing Super Lighting Electric Appliance Co., Ltd together with its affiliate Obert, Inc. has a patent infringement lawsuit against MaxLite for LED tube products.
In a statement to the EdisonReport, Simon Liu, Obert’s IP Counsel stated, “Super Lighting actively monitors the market and opposes the distribution of LED products in the marketplace that infringe its established patents. We will take all necessary legal action to remedy the problems pertaining to companies distributing or selling infringing products.”
“MaxLite takes any and all IP infringement claims very seriously, and will swiftly respond to this claim,” said President and COO Spencer Bolgard. “However, MaxLite believes the claim is without merit, and we will defend our position accordingly.
