EdisonReport has learned of a layoff at Hubbell Lighting last week that may have involved up to 50 people, including a few big names.
A spokesman for Hubbell explained, “As part of Hubbell’s ongoing efficiency initiatives we are sometimes faced with the difficult decision to reduce the size of a particular group or location, due to a number of factors. We do not comment on the specific details of these reductions other than to share we are committed to supporting impacted employees during this transition, which includes doing all we can to find them other opportunities that fit their skills and interests within our Company.”
