Marketing Manager — DMF

DMF Marketing values collaboration, creativity, initiative, and performance. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement marketing programs to promote DMF to our Lighting Representative Agents and Specifiers, and support overall marketing programs. The role involves creating marketing plans, training materials, staying up to date with the latest digital and customer trends, and managing marketing campaigns. Applicants should have lighting industry experience, strong communication skills, and excellent time management. This role will report to the Director of Marketing at DMF.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Work with Marketing and Sales channel leads to develop customer-specific marketing strategies for the forthcoming year.
  • Promote Growth: Understand key market drivers unique to customers and generate new ideas; advocate to support and grow sales.
  • Training: Develop training materials, e.g., presentations, videos, webinars, etc. and conduct product training
  • Marketing Resources: Work with the marketing team to develop and manage marketing assets and communication that will resonate with customers and grow sales, e.g., sell sheets, product notifications, etc.
  • Plan Digital Campaigns: Plan and execute digital campaigns, including determining which media platform to advertise on and optimizing campaigns.
  • Perform Market Research: Monitor what other companies and competitors are doing, staying ahead of the curve and aware of the latest marketing and digital trends.
  • Create and measure KPIs: DMF is a learning organization, and the Marketing Manager will gather data on campaign results and create reports to show what worked and what was less effective.

To succeed in this role, the Marketing Manager needs to be an excellent communicator, manage projects, execute training, marketing campaigns, strategies, and analyze data effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration with the Marketing team, other departments, and external contacts
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized while managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to analyze data, observe trends, evaluate and report on the success of campaigns
  • Experience in lighting is highly desirable
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics programs is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), etc.
  • 3-8 years of experience in marketing or relevant role
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience required, additional degrees a plus
