Project Manager, Lighting Distributor Southern CA:
Monterey Lighting Solutions is a nationwide supplier of commercial lighting products and services. MLS was founded in 2006 as a specialized distributor of energy-efficient lighting solutions. Our initial focus was to help organizations lower the cost of their energy bills by adopting energy-efficient lighting products. Our early customers were large and small commercial accounts, specialized retrofit contractors and utility companies. As a result of always looking out for our customers’ best interests and staying at the forefront of change within our industry, Monterey Lighting Solutions quickly became a trusted advisor to our customers.
As our business grew, we expanded our focus and began to serve the tenant improvement and new construction segments of the lighting business. We noticed a growing disconnect in the supply chain, and we were able to establish open lines of communication between all parties involved in designing, sourcing, and installing lighting products. We quickly learned that the existing processes caused a lot of friction in the market and often resulted in project delays and frustration across the supply chain. Working closely with our partners in the supply chain, Monterey developed a unique model that has transformed the process. Monterey’s “Smarter Way to Source Lighting” has proven to provide significant benefits to our customers, saving them time and money.
MLS is looking for a team-oriented go getter who wants to create a lucrative career in Lighting procurement with plenty of room to grow.
