Regional Sales Manager — FSC Lighting

FSC Lighting is looking for experienced Regional Sales Managers that will be the primary interface for our Southern and
Western regions’ rep agency network. The preferred location for each candidate would be Texas and California. This individual
is responsible for meeting the sales goals for their designated region by maintaining a robust pipeline of their activity in
Acumatica (CRM). This individual will work closely with the Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure FSC’s
product delivery effortlessly meets the needs and timing of our customers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills as well as build effective channel partner
relationships to achieve sales goals.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Target large project opportunities, directly with our channel partners, to ensure the FSC solution is specified.
    • Continue to follow the project through until a purchase order has been received.
  • Deliver training and product seminars for rep agency network, distributors, lighting specifiers, architects, and engineers.
  • Identify reasons for wins and losses, help to guide decisions on pricing and the key features and benefits of new products.
  • Ensure clients fully understand the solutions and product mix that FSC’s technology can provide.
  • Maintain FSC’s relevance as a key manufacturer on rep agency-line cards for all client projects.
  • Utilize Acumatica CRM program tools to drive performance metrics and forecast project pipeline.
  • Recognize new prospects to establish design wins.
  • Keep abreast of competitors and changing market dynamics, directly and through rep network, provide the market insight
    needed for pricing, positioning, and product development decisions.
  • Support regional and national trade shows as required to meet customers and generate leads.
  • Always be customer-focused and service-oriented to distinguish FSC from the competition.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the Lighting industry, emphasizing securing specifications.
  • Experience managing a rep agency network
  • Solid understanding of LED technology, applications, and markets.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working with customers’ senior management and technical teams.
  • Independent, self-motivated, working remotely and communicating effectively with direct management.
  • Strong business planning skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate new opportunities and pursue them until the project has been won.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical material and train effectively.
  • Competent with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel as demonstrated by the ability to create presentations, author
    communications and prepare business analytics.
  • Must reside in the Southern and Western regions and be willing to travel 50-60% of the time regularly.
