Lumascape is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to aggressively grow sales in territories across the US and Canada. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop relationships with our network of agencies and expand business opportunities within the lighting design and electrical engineering communities and with others involved in the architectural design process. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales of Lumascape products and managing a network of established agents, quotas and building a legacy for the territory. A proven and accomplished track record in the lighting industry connecting with a similar client base, demonstrated innovation in your approach and leadership capabilities are all required traits.
The RSM will require a thorough understanding of all Lumascape products, systems, services and modes of operation. You will have regular communication with Inside Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Manufacturing teams to meet customer needs. Participation in product launches and trade shows, as well as support for installation, commissioning and other, post-sale activities on an “as needed” basis form part of this role.
- Must live within/adjacent to a major market;
- A four-year college degree in Engineering or Business is desired;
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience in lighting is desired.
- Demonstrated success working from a home office;
- Deep knowledge of lighting and control technology;
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently;
- Demonstrated executive level presentation skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
