ROLE SUMMARY
As Sales Manager, you will lead strategic account development for the Eastern United States. You will steer prospective customers through the sales process from lead generation to paid customer to accelerate revenue growth and set the organization up for rapid expansion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute sales processes and workflows that enable creative thinking and organization, all while driving accountability, revenue, brand, and overall growth.
- Promote the Parspec brand, provide education of Parspec software, and close deals.
- Lead customer outreach for the Eastern United States through lead generation, cold calling, email campaigns, coordinating sales presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Work with sales, marketing, and operations to assist in the creation of tools, dashboards, presentations, and creative assets to enable and promote positive customer experiences.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Track and manage all activity based on our CRM systems and processes.
- Share feature requests and adoption blockers with the product and engineering team.

WHO YOU ARE
- You are a proven Sales professional from the lighting industry or similar fields that has experience working with Manufacturer Representative Agencies, Lighting & Electrical Distributors, or Lighting Manufacturers.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are excited by the opportunity to shape the sales process and strategy
- You find ways to connect with people personally and professionally with a common goal of creating long term partnerships
- You are methodical and detail oriented with sales presentations, demonstrations, and lead nurturing
- You have exceptional computer skills and feel comfortable providing detailed product demos to audiences of all sizes
- You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and believe that no task is beneath you when it comes to creating the best customer experience and growing the business
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Sales
- Strive to meet and exceed 2022 Sales Revenue Goals as set forth at the beginning of employment
- Promote Parspec brand through sales presentations, video conferences, trade shows, webinars, and publications
- Education of Parspec software through product demonstrations both virtually and in-person
- Lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead conversion to paid customers through various channels and methodologies and centralized through the Parspec CRM system
- Work with Parspec operations to streamline and industrialize the CRM sales process to meet future growth needs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Marketing
- Assist in the development of sales enablement in collaboration with Marketing – presentations, sell sheets, case studies, newsletters, demo videos, and any other content needed to drive customer adoption and growth
- Participate in shaping new value propositions
- Aid in the creation of customer testimonials
- Assist in developing case studies
- Create and run outbound sales campaigns specific to audiences and use cases
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Product Coordination
- You will act as the voice of customers to provide feedback to the product team in order to create the best software and customer experience during periodic product discussions
- You will document specific feature requests from customers and periodically collaborate with Product teams to help improve our software
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Sales Experience in Lighting/Electrical Products or SaaS
- Location: Eastern United States preferred, 100% remote
- 25% minimum travel required (1 week / month)
- Strong computer skills – especially managing remote video meetings, CRM systems, and the Parspec software
- Ability to learn or use the latest business software platforms for communication, sales, and marketing
- Google Suite (Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, HubSpot, Jira, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the lighting or electrical industry with rep agents, distributors, and manufacturers or SaaS sales experience in similar fields is valued.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and users across multiple time zones
- Experience with rapid scaling of early-stage companies
