Stan Heywood 1922-2021
Stan Haywood, the first National Sales Manager for Preston Jones (Prescolite) passed on Thursday February 11th. In the 1950’s and 1960’s Stan (an accomplished ventriloquist) was known for his entertaining product presentations for Prescolite with his puppet TEX. After Prescolite was sold to US Industries, Stan and his wife Ernestine moved to the San Francisco bay area where Stan, along with several partners, started the lighting agency Lighting Systems. Stan was a principal at Lighting Systems until his retirement in 1987. San and his wife retired to Chandler, Arizona where Stan still worked 3 days a week as a specification sales person for Arizona Lighting Sales until his 89th birthday. Due to COVID the family has no plans at this time for a memorial.
