| Endeavor Business Media and the Strategies in Light event team announce that the 2021 in-person event will not take place due to the unavailability of the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA and continuing restrictions on international travel. The event will be shifted to an online format to be held August 24-25, 2021.
“To our great disappointment, we were recently informed by the management of the Santa Clara Convention Center that the venue would not be available to host Strategies in Light in August due to its current use as a COVID-19 vaccination site,” said Lester Craft, Executive Vice President of Endeavor Business Media’s Lighting Group. “Unfortunately, the unavailability of the venue combined with ongoing international travel restrictions has made it impossible for us to move forward with an in-person event. However, in order to provide the industry with opportunities to connect, learn and engage, we will be shifting the event to an online experience to be held August 24-25, 2021. While we had looked forward to returning to an in-person format, we are confident that this online version of the event will provide the global lighting community with a convenient, cost-effective way to connect with others in the industry while benefiting from our robust conference program packed with exceptional content.”
The Strategies in Light online event will feature interactive webinars, panel discussions, and chat forums that enable attendees and exhibitors to network, exchange information, and share ideas. In addition, the 7th annual Sapphire Awards will also be shifted to a virtual format during this time to recognize leading innovations in product development and design for lighting products and systems. Drawing upon Endeavor’s extensive resources and deep expertise in producing high-quality, productive, and engaging virtual events, Strategies in Light 2021 will provide a valuable experience for attendees and exhibitors.
