Product Manager–Cooledge

Product Manager

Cooledge Lighting is developing a revolutionary approach to the exploding solid state lighting space with the industry’s first LED lighting sheet.  Cooledge Lighting is preparing the commercial launch of our proprietary flexible lighting sheet to target the US$100B global lighting market.  Our innovative contribution to the emerging LED space eliminates many of the constraints and challenges that existing LED systems impose.  Cooledge’s LED lighting sheet requires no additional thermal management, is physically flexible, highly efficient, low glare, and delivers long life.

The lighting industry is entering a decade of rapid conversion and expansion as LEDs penetrate all of the industry’s traditional lighting applications.  The positive environmental and financial impact surrounding energy and maintenance savings delivered by SSL technology is unprecedented.

Prioritizing the development and commercial efforts to support the company’s overall strategy and goals is critical to our success.  Analytical support based on market research and on-going customer/market feedback will guide the organization’s evolution.

The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for working with the EVP Sales & Marketing on all aspects of product planning and execution, from development to end-of-life.  This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. The PM must be able to communicate with all areas of the company and will work with the engineering team to define product release requirements. The PM will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.
