Electrical Engineer with lighting background

FES is looking for a local electrical engineer with lighting background to join our group. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team and work closely with our Director of Engineering in planning, scheduling, cost analysis, evaluation of alternatives, design review, management review, tooling release and production release.
Job requirements:
BS in Engineering – Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of lighting layout design software
Knowledge of AutoCAD
Basic computer office skills
1-3 years of electrical/ electronic product design experience (lighting products or lighting product controls related industry)
Knowledge of power electronic concepts, switch mode power supply theory of operation, resonant systems, and control systems
Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines.
Knowledge of project scheduling and cost estimating/forecasting.
Ability to adjust priorities as changes occur.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and present ideas and concepts.
Ability to performing with minimal guidance or supervision.
Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities, schedules, and design conditions.
Capable of managing third party companies, as required, to assist in the design and construction of facilities.
