The primary focus of this position is to lead the Cree Lighting National accounts team. This team is responsible for excellence in the total go-to-market process: from product/marketing material development to the creation, and execution of business plans, establishment & achievement of sales targets for Cree Lightings national account customers and after the sale follow-up.
This position will lead the National Accounts team to drive revenue through business planning and customer/end user development, and also require close collaboration with field sales touch points, marketing, product development, and customer service, while maintaining a relationship with engineering, applications, production and manufacturing staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achievement of Cree Lighting sales and profit targets
- Develop annual business plans for the national account team with hard revenue targets
- Provide direction for national accounts business alignment agreements and programs
- Establishes clear and measurable objectives and actions for the national account team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience creating instant channel credibility; personality respected by team and industry
- Current experience in national or corporate accounts
- Proven track record on setting and executing a winning channel strategy
- Able to successfully perform against quarterly pressure of hitting targets
- National and/or Corporate Account background is a must
- Lighting Industry experience is a plus but not required
Requirements
- College degree (business or marketing preferred) or equivalent industry work experience required
- 7-10 years of experience in national or corporate accounts, with a preference for experience in the lighting industry
- 5+ years of management experience leading a sales team
- Demonstrated history of national accounts / corporate accounts success
- Computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Internet Research, and PowerPoint
