January 5th, 2021 Carson, CA — NLS Lighting is proud to announce Joe Kay as the Director of National Sales. Mr. Kay is an accomplished sales professional with over 30 years in the Lighting Industry. Joe’s responsibilities will be to oversee National Sales with existing Agencies and to look for continued growth opportunities.

Joe started his lighting career in 1987, working for Whiteway/Spaulding as their Southern California Auto Dealership & Petroleum Representative. He then in 1988 spent a few years at Industrial Wholesale Electric in Los Angeles, as the Exterior Lighting Sales Representative.
In 2000, Joe helped drive the growth of a prominent lighting company in southern California. Joe initially served as the National Sales Manager and eventually was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Western Regional Manager in 2010. It was here Joe created multi-channel revenue streams from National Accounts to Wholesale distribution.
Joe joins NLS Lighting to continue developing overall market growth, directly engaging with business partners, and translating the company’s business objectives to drive revenue.
