We are pleased to announce that at our 8th Annual Lifetime Achievement Awards, taking place on Monday evening, 22 May, we will be honoring the late Howard Brandston. The event will feature drinks and heavy appetizers, beginning at 5:30 pm, with the Lifetime Achievement Awards commencing at 6pm. Lance Bennett will be our Emcee for the evening, and we will be recognizing an exceptional group of honorees including Mark Benguerel, Larry Bloch, Larry Comer (posthumous), Cheryl English, Lisa Heschong, Alan Lewis, Becky Rainier, Steven Rosen, Suzan Tillotson, and John Tremaine.
Following the recognition of our 2023 honorees, we will open the floor to our guests to celebrate Howard. One of Howard’s unique qualities was his habit of making notes and even drawing designs on cocktail napkins. As an homage to him, we will be providing guests with cocktail napkins and encouraging them to comment or draw in honor of Howard. We will post these tributes on a board at LightFair.
