EdisonReport Names Best Booths at LightFair 2025
Each year, EdisonReport proudly highlights exceptional booth design at major lighting industry events. For LightFair 2025, we recognized Seoul Semiconductor as the Best Large Booth and SPJ Lighting as the Best Small Booth. These selections reflect our independent editorial judgment. They are not affiliated with LightFair’s organizers, and we hope our coverage made that distinction clear.
No Official Booth Awards from LightFair This Year
In past years, LightFair has issued its own best booth awards. To our knowledge, no such awards were presented in 2025. As we often do at events without formal booth recognition, we toured the show floor to identify exhibitors that stood out in design, creativity, and brand expression. We believe effective booth design enhances the overall show experience and deserves recognition. Your humble editor believes booth design is vitally important–to the exhibitors and the tradeshow as a whole–and we want to showcase best practices.
Outstanding Booths Also Noted at LEDucation
Earlier this year, we did the same at LEDucation, which also does not typically give best booth awards. At that event, EdisonReport recognized the following companies for standout presentations:

Why the Large Booth Decision Was So Difficult
Choosing the best large booth at LightFair 2025 was not easy. American Lighting made a strong impression. Their booth was visually captivating, acoustically comfortable, and thoughtfully organized. I spent time there filming our LightPitch™ segment and left impressed by the team’s attention to detail and professionalism.
Initially, they were our top choice.
However, after speaking with several lighting designers, we heard consistent praise for Seoul Semiconductor. Their booth stood out because it was made entirely of cardboard—an environmentally conscious and creatively bold choice. The designers we spoke to appreciated that level of sustainability, and their enthusiasm influenced our final decision.
Celebrating Innovation and Design
Although only two booths received awards, many exhibitors brought fresh ideas and strong visuals to the show floor. We appreciate the effort every company puts into their displays and look forward to even more creative presentations at future events.
