Sonneman has announced the discontinuation of its downlight product line as it continues to evolve its broader architectural and decorative lighting portfolio within Hudson Valley Lighting Group. The company is notifying recent customers to allow time for project planning, final orders, and warranty support. The following message was shared with reps earlier today.

Thank you for choosing Sonneman and for your continued support over the years. We value the trust you place in our products and are grateful to be a part of your projects. As Sonneman continues to evolve within Hudson Valley Lighting Group, our expanded portfolio now offers a wider range of architectural performance lighting solutions and decorative fixtures for future specifications.

We would like to inform you that the Sonneman Downlight product line has been discontinued. Since you have purchased Sonneman Downlights within the past two years, we wanted to notify you directly to ensure you have time to plan ahead.

If Sonneman rough-ins have already been installed on your project and you still require trims (bevel, pinhole, adjustable, etc.), ceiling applications, light engines, lenses, or media to complete the installation, please contact us immediately. Orders must be placed by January 30th, while inventory remains available.

We will continue to honor warranties within the standard warranty period, and have allocated inventory to support any warranty needs that may arise.

As you look ahead to future projects, CSL offers architectural downlighting solutions within the Hudson Valley Lighting Group family that may be a strong fit for future specifications. Our team would be happy to provide recommendations, comparable alternatives, or samples.
