We are recruiting for a National Account Manager to build key account business for Zumtobel in North America in coordination with global key account activities; attain key account sales per assigned budget.

Drive growth by managing existing accounts and developing new sales opportunities within the Global Key Accounts segment and the Midwest region.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales efforts within the assigned territory to insure implementation of overall strategy and marketing programs as well as sales performance.
  • Work out targeted presentations and sales stories for key account opportunities,
  • Build relationships with the most important Lighting designers, architects and engineers in assigned territories
  • Schedule and roll out new product programs and promotion programs.
  • Carry out effectively sales calls and develop strong relationships with key accounts across the country and existing rep network in the Midwest
  • Coordinate internally all special requests and projects for assigned territory.
  • Train, motivate and control agents in assigned territories;
  • Communication with global key account group and participate in key account meetings
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned. 

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional sales and negotiating skills in commercial lighting with proven ability to increase sales.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial lighting environment and the ability to develop and implement business-driving plans.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to develop solid relationships with customers and rep agencies.
  • Proactive, anticipate market developments and competitor’s moves.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and inter-personal skills to relate cross-functionally.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others.
  • Sales/service experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of lighting industry or electrical contracting a plus.
