The lighting industry has lost a true giant with the passage of Brian Wald, founder of Fulham. Beyond his obvious acumen building and expanding his company into a globally operating business empire, Brian profoundly impacted colleagues on a personal level with his spirit, vision, wit, enthusiasm and generosity of time. He also had a passion for transferring knowledge to those around him, acting as a cross-disciplinary mentor. Of the enduring legacy he built with Fulham, Brian once said, “our culture has been developed based on the kinds of people you’d want to have in your family – those people with the same work ethic that you have and the same joy of being in business that you have.” Brian will be greatly missed.
