EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS — Signify has achieved its highest EcoVadis sustainability rating to date, earning an overall score of 88 out of 100 and receiving a Platinum medal for the seventh consecutive year.

The lighting company improved from a score of 84 in its previous assessment and received a perfect 100 out of 100 for Environment. Its Platinum status places Signify among the top 1% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis during the previous 12 months.

Signify attributed its environmental performance to efforts spanning climate action, energy efficiency, renewable electricity, and circularity. The EcoVadis assessment recognized the company’s science-based environmental targets, use of 100% renewable electricity, and programs supporting product repair, reuse, take-back, and recycling.

“Achieving a score of 100 for Environment is a result our teams can truly be proud of,” said Maurice Loosschilder, Head of Sustainability at Signify. He noted that the company continues to focus on energy-efficient LED and connected lighting systems while incorporating circularity into product design through Signify Circle.

EcoVadis evaluates companies across 21 sustainability criteria organized into four areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Ratings consider company policies, actions, reported results, supporting documentation, and external information. More than 150,000 businesses use the EcoVadis sustainability ratings platform.

The latest assessment continues Signify’s seven-year run of Platinum recognition while marking its strongest overall EcoVadis performance to date.
