Boston, MA, October 19, 2026 — Boston Light Source (BLS) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Lighting Affiliates, bringing together two established lighting agencies with deep roots in the New England lighting community.

For decades, BLS and Lighting Affiliates have grown alongside one another, serving their respective markets, representing many of the industry’s leading manufacturers, and building relationships across the specification, distribution, and construction communities.

Over the years, those paths have crossed through shared relationships, partnerships, and collaboration. Bringing the two organizations together is a natural progression of that history.

Under the leadership of Brian Fox, Lighting Affiliates has built a respected presence throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, defined by longstanding manufacturer partnerships, deep customer relationships, and a strong commitment to service. That will not change.

For BLS, this acquisition is as much about honoring what has already been built as it is investing in what comes next.
