Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager who is responsible for the OEM/ODM business in the retail channel to develop, manage, and expand strategic customer relationships within the retail/DIY lighting market. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and coordinating cross-functional support to ensure successful execution across all stages of the business relationship.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex customer accounts within retail environment. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the capability to work effectively across sales, operations, engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key purchasing, marketing, and engineering personnel at designated retail accounts.
- Understand the needs and objectives of the retail customers and align our LED lamp, lighting fixture and component products to meet those requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Program/Product Managers, to address and resolve any issues or challenges encountered by the assigned retail accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the retail customers, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring timely resolution of any concerns.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth within the assigned retail accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews with retail customers to assess performance, address feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Represent us at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
- Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and analyses related to sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends.
- Travel to customer sites, as needed, ranging from 30% to 50% of the time.

Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field, preferred.
- 3+ years of B2B retail account management experience within lighting, electronics, home improvement, or consumer goods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving targets and objectives.
- Willingness to travel extensively, as required, to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year (+ incentives) / Commensurate with experience
Experience Level: 3+ years
Travel Requirement: Approximately 40% travel
