Leadership Transition at ILP and Green Creative

SANFORD, FL., Jan. 9, 2019 – Cole Zucker, President of Green Creative and Senior Vice President Strategic Accounts for Green Creative and ILP (Industrial Lighting Products), will step down from those positions at the end of March to work for a non-profit educational organization, John Dinger, CEO of ILP and Green Creative announced today.

Zucker will remain as an investor and adviser to ILP and Green Creative, which in 2017 were combined into a single entity with independent brands.  Ken Hawley, Vice President Sales for the combined organization, will assume management of his strategic accounts.

Zucker co-founded Green Creative in 2010.  Starting with door-to-door sales, he helped build it into a major provider of LED lamps and LED luminaries for the North American commercial lighting market.

“My passion for Green Creative and now ILP (Industrial Lighting Products) remains strong,” he said in a statement to employees. “But the organization is in excellent condition. Its future is brighter than ever, and I have complete confidence in the people to whom we have entrusted our customer relationships. So after much thought and deliberation, I have concluded that the timing is right for me to pursue my calling for community service.

“For the last couple of years,” he continued, “I have been involved with a national non-profit called ‘Communities in Schools,’ which works with at-risk youth in 25 states to stay in school and improve their life prospects.  My activities have included board service for the organization’s Los Angeles chapter. Now I am going to become an advisor to the organization at the national level.

“I want to thank John Dinger,” Zucker added, “for his understanding and support as I have worked my way through this decision-making process.”

Dinger commented: “All of us at ILP and Green Creative extend our sincerest best wishes to Cole as he starts this new adventure.  We know that he will bring the same creativity, tenacity and skill in building relationships to Communities in Schools that he has brought to our organization. At the same time, we are grateful that his association with our company will continue through his roles as an investor and advisor.”
