JOB TITLE: Controls Manager
REPORTS TO: Senior VP / Product Development
SATCO Products Inc.: Join a 50+ year old, young-minded lighting industry leader in piloting a new position and resources to fuel the companies continued growth.
Position summary: Responsible for sourcing, developing, and managing a comprehensive controls and related accessory products programs for use with existing and future product lines.
Position responsibilities:
• Identify market needs
• Establish program requirements and implement procedures
• Collaborate with sales and product development teams regarding need and opportunity
• Work with marketing and brand management teams to develop communication tools which present customization options
• Resolve problems quickly and turn them into opportunities
• Assist in the growth of targeted product categories, by developing new solutions to meet market demand and lead with innovation
• Limited travel
Essential Skills:
• 5+ years’ experience in a professional environment
• Prior lighting industry experienced preferred
• Knowledge and experience with sensors and switches (controls) a plus
• Basic knowledge of current energy codes / requirements
• Possess excellent teamwork skills
• Must be proficient using Word, strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
