A Note from Burrus and Mathews’ President
To All,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to announce the retirement of Galen Hollar, our CEO and a valued member of the Burrus & Matthews family for 47 years. Galen joined the company in November 1976 as a West Texas salesman and rose through the rank to become president in April 1994 and CEO in December of 2021.
During his tenure, Galen led Burrus & Matthews to become a premier electrical manufacturer representative company. He has also been a dedicated leader in the industry, serving as chairman of NEMRA and on numerous manufacturer councils and committees.
Galen is a true professional and a role model for us all. He is known for his wisdom, passion, and commitment to integrity and honor. He has built a strong team and instilled a culture of excellence at Burrus & Matthews. We will miss him dearly, but we know that his legacy will live on.
On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank Galen for his many contributions to Burrus & Matthews. We wish him all the best in his retirement.
