DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MANAGING QUOTES

  • Working within established guidelines, particularly with manufacturers and Priority Lighting.
  • Perform Take-Offs (digitally and manually) 
  • Requesting and organizing the quotations of manufacturers, jobs / projects.
  • Meeting set quotation targets – this aspect of the work can be demanding, often carried out in a busy and pressured environment, with sales teams frequently expected to hit their targets.
  • Reading and understanding technical/specification sheets 
  • Utilizing specialist product knowledge
  • Assist and support project team members in completing the project
  • Review, Cross/VE counts as per plan
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising in a project
  • Ensure completion of the quote in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits
  • Maintain, manage, and document all quotes 
  • Track and maintain project expenditure within its budget
  • Handle multiple quotes
  • Creating Priority Lighting documents such as photometrics, submittals, etc. 

CUSTOMERS/SALES

  • Answering email, phone, and in-person queries from customers/sales reps and assisting them to find the goods and products they are looking for
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
  • Resolve customer complaints, while knowing when to get management involved

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Keeping up to date with lighting trends
  • Keeping up to date with product knowledge and promotions
  • (controls experience is ideal)
  • (photometric / AGi32 experience is ideal)
  • Can adapt quickly to change and business strategies
  • Well versed in LED Lighting Industry with thorough product knowledge, functional understanding, description interpretations, features, wattages, etc.

Two-year lighting experience needed, electrical, or construction related fields may count DOE.

Must be well versed in Outlook, Teams, Adobe and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $120,000.00 per year depending on experience
