Position: Regional Sales Manager, Texas and South-Central US
Reports to: Senior Vice President of Sales
Location: Must reside in major South-Central Market (TX, OK, AR, LA) with a preference for Texas.
Travel requirements: Domestic only, at about +/- 75% travel annually.
Pay Scale: $115,000 to $175,000

We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to service Texas and South Central US. This Regional Sales Manager will maintain, build, and grow relationships with Rep Agencies, Architects, Lighting Designers, Builders and other key decision makers. This individual will have strong relationships within the architectural lighting community that they will leverage to drive revenue.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build and maintain relationships to maximize revenue opportunities through Rep Agencies, Architects, Lighting Designers, Builders by calling on key clients and driving demand for CSL Lighting products.

- Strategically grow existing customer base and discover new business opportunities, while cultivating new relationships.

- Increase CSL Lighting brand awareness through product presentations, local events, and directed marketing initiatives.

- Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective clients, projects, and partners.
- Hire and Manage Rep Agencies, creating a unified territory network for CSL Lighting

- Develop and implement a territory sales plan to deliver on annual sales goals

- Maintain monthly follow‐ups on specifications and quotations, documenting wins and losses with available background information.

- Monitor and manage major specification projects to ensure our spec is held.

- Train, motivate and support agency personnel on CSL Lighting products. Provide technical expertise on CSL products when required.

- Travel in territory at least 75% of the time.
- Work with SVP of Sales and VP of Engineering on product development needed to stay current with competitors and product/market trends.
- Coordinate major specification projects with other Regional Sales Managers to ensure successful completion of the project.
- Participate in the planning and management of trade shows and events inside your assigned territory.
- Maintain a targeted focus on increasing revenue while being fiscally responsible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience is preferred in marketing, business or design.
- 3 years of sales experience, preferably in LED Lighting.
- Demonstrated success developing, growing, and managing relationships
- Exceptional entrepreneurial attitude and selling skills.
- Demonstrated presentation, communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability and track record of closing deals.
- Strategic thinker and understands the big picture.
- Ability to travel (-/+) 75% of the time.
- Work location from home in South Central Region with a preference for Texas.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products. Excel proficiency is a must.
